I have always been fascinated by music and its power to move people. Since I was a child, I have explored a wide range of musical genres and styles, from Classical to Rock, from Jazz to Hip Hop.
Above all, nothing compares to the feeling of playing music that swings.
I aim to create a musical atmosphere that inspires and delights the dancers. I play both smooth and edgy grooves, depending on the mood and the energy of the floor. I love to mix different styles of swing music, including big band, blues, rhythm & blues, funk and soul.
I play music from the 1930s onwards, always looking for songs that have a strong rhythm and a catchy melody.
I prefer to play music that is mid and slow tempo, as I believe it allows more room for creativity and expression in the dance. I also try to balance the familiar with the unfamiliar, introducing new songs and artists that might surprise and challenge the dancers.

I have been DJing on and off for about 40 years, starting with vinyl records and cassette tapes, and now using digital formats. I have DJ'd at various events in the UK and abroad, such as Camp Savoy, Hoppin' In The Hams, Calpe Swing Fiesta, and the Cheltenham Swing Festival.
I enjoy sharing my passion for music with other enthusiasts, and I hope to keep doing it for many more years.
